hey, i’m margot
Artist Statement:
My painting are an outlet for the experiences I can’t explain, capturing the wonder and magic I feel in the world. Connecting with stories is a major drive in my artwork, by pulling from folklore themes I’m able to reveal the mysteries of my psyche and ambitions of the spirit. Combining traditional portraiture and my love of illustration, I’m able to make whimsical narrative pieces that tell stories of magic and imagination.
